Metal additive manufacturing

Metal 3D printing

"Innovation is the key to success"

Tamau has recently launched a new rapid prototyping service for metal components. Rapid prototyping makes it possible to quickly produce a metal prototype of a product starting from a 3D CAD file. This process is aimed at testing the design, functionality, and ergonomics of the object before moving on to mass production.
Metal 3D printing, also known as Metal Additive Manufacturing, is an additive production technology that creates metal parts layer by layer from a digital 3D model. Unlike subtractive technologies, 3D printing adds material only where needed, allowing for the creation of complex, lightweight, and customized shapes with unprecedented design freedom.

The "binder jetting" metal 3D printing process

The “binder jetting” 3D printing process allows the creation of complex and refined models for prototyping, research, or unique, non-serial productions.

Why is it such an effective technology?

Unlike other technologies such as Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) / Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), which use filaments, binder jetting technology allows the production of complex solid parts with high dimensional accuracy and precision.

Reduce production time and costs.

Reverse engineering and rapid prototyping

Practicality and speed above all: with reverse engineering operations, it is possible to digitally reproduce the 3D model of an existing object in order to modify its geometric characteristics.
